International Students
The ECTC International Student Office is dedicated to providing admissions assistance to F-1 immigration students. An F-1 student is someone who has been granted permission from the U.S. federal government to enter and remain in the United States temporarily as a full-time student. F-1 students must follow special regulations to maintain their visa status.
Here are just a few of these important regulations, International Students:

must remain a full-time student except during school vacation
-
will be charged tuition according to the non-resident rates
-
must have a valid passport
-
must have documented proof of financial support
-
must follow specific procedures for transferring schools, traveling, and reporting changes to personal and financial information
-
will not be eligible for employment off-campus without special permission from the immigration service
International students interested in attending ECTC will need to complete the Form I-20 in order to obtain an F-1 Student Visa. In order to obtain the Form I-20, please submit all of the following documentation to the International Student Office:

An ECTC Application for Admission or complete the Online Application for Admission

Complete the Application for the I-20 Form
-
Original or certified copies of secondary school and college transcripts, (must be in English)

Official scores for TOEFL® Test (Computer-Based Minimum Score – 173, Internet-Based Minimum Score – 61)
-
Placement test scores: ACT or COMPASS
-
Proof of paid-up health insurance policy for 1st year (must provide proof of renewal after 1st year)

Complete the Financial Certification Forms

Proof of means of financial support for at least one year (bank statement or official letter from bank). A minimum of $25,800 for the first academic year. Identify where money for the 2nd year will come from.

A statement from a private sponsor in the United States certifying they will assist student while enrolled as an International Student at ECTC

A photocopy of the student's visa for individuals already in the United States
