The chapter successfully completed activities that promoted leadership development, community service, additional study events, and coordinated a fellowship held with other Phi Theta Kappans. The chapter was awarded the Leadership Hallmark award, which is given to chapters that coordinate projects on campus and in the community and participate in studies that help develop leadership skills. The chapter was also awarded the Service Hallmark Award for working with the International service project, Operation Green. The project encourages chapters to become environmentally friendly by participating in the recycling of cell phones and plastic bottles. The chapter also runs the book drive on campus that asks students to donate used textbooks in the drop off bins to keep books from landfills with proceeds benefitting the National Center for Family Literacy. Alpha Lambda Delta also coordinates with G. C. Burkhead Elementary for an annual Angel Tree. The Phi Theta Kappa Kentucky Alumni Association also held elections for offices and ECTC's Lisa Page was elected as the Vice President of the Central Division of Kentucky.
