ECTC Sponsors KY Historian at Lincoln Bicentennial
 
Elizabethtown Community and Technical College will sponsor a special presentation at the Hodgenville Lincoln Bicentennial Kick-Off celebration on Sunday, February 10. Dr. James C. Klotter, Kentucky State Historian and Professor of History at Georgetown College, will speak about "Kentucky's Three Presidents" on February 10 from 1:45 - 3 p.m. at the Hodgenville Civic Center. The event is free and open to the public. There will be a book signing by Dr. Klotter immediately following the presentation, featuring his books "A New History of Kentucky" and "Faces of Kentucky."

A native Kentuckian, Dr. Klotter received his Ph.D. in History from the University of Kentucky, and has honorary degrees from Eastern Kentucky University and Union College. He is the author, coauthor, or editor of more than a dozen books. Dr. Klotter was also an associate editor of the Kentucky Encyclopedia and was the Executive Director of the Kentucky Historical Society for many years until his retirement.
