ECTC Choristers Present Holiday Concert

The Elizabethtown Community and Technical College Choristers will present their Holiday Concert Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 8:00 p.m. in the ECTC Science Auditorium. Admission is free, and the public is cordially invited.

The Choristers group has been active since the beginning of the college, and includes college students, faculty members, and members from the community. The director is Dr. Camille Hill, with associate director Joe Galloway and pianist Mary Anne Reiss.

The feature of the Choristers' program will be the choral masterpiece Gloria, by Antonio Vivaldi. The program will continue the holiday celebration with ensembles for the holiday season. In the third section, the Choristers will perform choral music by American composers: "My Luve's like a Red, Red Rose," by René Clausen, "In Remembrance," by Eleanor Daley, and spiritual arrangements by Jester Hairston and Moses Hogan. They will conclude with jazz arrangements of "Winter Wonderland" and "Let It Snow."
