Financial Aid Planning and Cost Calculators
There are always a lot of questions that come up when you first start planning for your college education. We have put together a few links below to web sites that have good resources, financial aid information, and cost calculators, and some even allow you to create an online profile that you can store and maintain for years to come. We hope you find them useful!
  1. Pell Grant Calculator
    • Use our Pell Grant Calculator tool as a means to estimate the potential award for the number of credit hours that you will be taking per semester.

  2. Go Higher KY website
    • The Go Higher KY website is your complete guide to attending college in Kentucky. By taking a few minutes to create a student account on Go Higher KY, you can automatically insert your information into financial aid and college applications, visit campuses virtually, explore career options, get adult education information, and receive help transferring to another school.

  3. FinAid Calculators, The SmartStudent™ Guide to Financial Aid
    • FinAid´s custom calculators can help you figure out how much school will cost, how much you need to save and how much aid you'll need. The most popular calculators are the College Cost Projector, Savings Plan Designer (Flat Contribution), Expected Family Contribution and Financial Aid Calculator and Loan Calculator.

  4. CollegeBoard
    • Paying for your college education is no small undertaking. There are many questions to consider: what will it cost, how much can you save, how much can you and your family afford to pay, how much to borrow, and what scholarships are available to you.
